65b5d31814 COMMON: Removed Stream::ioFailed() and clearIOFailed(), as they are deprecated; however, retained ioFailed in SeekableReadStream and File for now (so for now this mainly affects WriteStream subclasses)

5417f6bacb - Replace OSystem::clearScreen with OSystem::fillScreen as discussed on -devel. 
- Update BaseBackend and DC port to properly implement OSystem::fillScreen (now only PalmOS has to be updated).
- Update all client code which relied on OSystem::clearScreen so far.

eb6c809d2b - Added more information (ID and capabilities) to the MIDI drivers 
- Added the MidiPlugin interface to the remaining MIDI drivers
- Added an initial MidiManager to handle the MIDI plugins (just static plugins by now)

2469e00248 SysEx data now passed around with const pointers. Permits simplification of some SysEx client code. 
Testing on Windows. Developers on other platforms, please verify integrity of music handling in your respective MidiDrivers.

969ef3dac9 * Added new virtual base class 'Stream', ReadStream and 
WriteStream are now subclasses of it.
* Added new methods eos(), ioFailed(), clearIOFailed() to
  all streams. This allows better error checking.
* SaveFile classes take advantage of these new standard
  stream APIS
* Removed File::gets()
* Added SeekableReadStream::readLine() (replaces File::gets)
* Added WriteStream::writeString, for convenience
