aec9b9e22a ALL: Let overlay related methods in OSystem take a void * and use a proper pitch values.
This is a first step to get rid of OverlayColor, which is a requirement for
proper 4Bpp overlay support.

d27d951d0b BACKENDS: Make OSystem::setMouseCursor take a "const void *" buffer.
This is mainly for consistency with OSystem::copyRectToScreen.

31880186e1 BACKENDS: Let copyRectToScreen take a "const void *" instead of "const byte *" as buffer.
This removes the need to convert the parameter to copyRectToScreen to
"const byte *", which is commonly used in games, which use Graphics::Surface
to store their graphics data.

a401f0a19e ALL: Replace cursorTargetScale in OSystem API with a simple "do not scale" logic.
All uses of the old target scale API actually wanted to disallow scaling of
the mouse cursor. This commit adapts our API to this and thus simplifies
backend implementations.

Some backends, most notable the Wii and Android, did some implementation of
the cursor target scale, which I didn't adapt yet. I added a TODO for the
porters there.

a4798602d7 JANITORIAL: Fix missing whitespace in pointer cast
find -name '*.h' -or -name '*.cpp' | xargs sed -r -i 's@\(([A-Za-z0-9]+)\*\)@(\1 *)@g'

This seems to have caught some params as well which is not undesirable IMO.
It also caught some strings containing this which is undesirable so I
excluded them manually. (engines/sci/engine/kernel_tables.h)

5647637ea2 COMMON: Move <new> include into scummsys.h.
The header contains forbidden symbols on some platforms, and the
simplest solution seems to be to include it here. This also includes
it from all the portdefs.h files, except the Symbian one. Probably
the FIXME and the #if can be removed once it's known to work.

5b2e90504c DC: Directory handling fixes
* Include directory nodes in FSList sent to detectGames
  - This is required for correct detection of toon.
* Don't add / at the end of directories found in getChildren
  - It looks like that behaviour was removed from posix-fs a long
    time ago, and now there's apparently code depending on directories
    _not_ having a / at the end of their name...
* Treat games detected in subdirs as duplicates
  - This is a workaround for a detection bug in toon; it will incorrectly
    detect the game in the MISC subdirectory as well.
* Don't avoid directories called "install" in the game selector
  - I don't know if the original reason for ignoring "install" is still
    valid, but the code for doing do so was broken anyway.

88913c0139 ALL: Remove trailing whitespaces
This tries to make our code a bit more compliant with our code formatting
conventions. For future use, this is the command I used:
  git ls-files "*.cpp" "*.h" | xargs sed -i -e 's/[ \t]*$//'

a4610df482 Merge branch 'branch-1-3-0' into master
I manually resolved all conflicts, and inspected every single change.
Many were due to the version string mismatch and thus easily resolved.
The MSVC project files add in the 1-3-0 branch were not merged,

c3463e77d2 DC: Create a "dcdist" target for buildbot
The "dcdist" target creates the directory dcdist/scummvm and copies
relevant files from the nightly build into it.  This is is they do
not have to be enumerated in the buildbot configuration.

8a87429306 DC: Provide some feedback when loading plugins
Display the names of the plugins being loaded, and display amount
of free memory while doing so.  This should make it easier to spot
the case that too many engine plugins have been placed on the boot
medium.

106380d481 DC: Don't use $(VER_REV) with git
It seems unlikely that git will ever be able to produce a $(VER_REV)
of 6 characters or less (the requirement for the version field in
IP.BIN), so don't even try to use it.

176be9adad DC: Ensure creation of output sections .{c,d}tors
Add an object with an empty .ctors and .dtors section to the build
of each plugin.  This ensures that there will be an output section
.ctors and one .dtors in the output file (they could be empty though).
If these output sections were to be removed, the symbols defined inside
by the linker script could disappear as well, and we don't want that.
